The day
How the day runs
Saturday 26 December 2026: meet at Campbells Cove Wharf (next to Oriana Sydney) between 10:45am and 11am. Boarding is at 11am, with departure at 11:10am sharp. Boxing Day is one of the busiest days around Sydney Harbour, so allow plenty of time — Luna cannot wait for late arrivals.
The Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race is scheduled to start at 1pm while we're on the harbour. Luna joins the general spectator fleet to take in the atmosphere from the spectator area, outside the race exclusion zone, as the yachts head for Sydney Heads. Return to Campbells Cove Wharf is at 2pm.

Weather & the fine print
- Change of mind: cancel on or before 26 November 2026 (30 days before the cruise) for a full refund of the ticket price. Within 30 days, tickets are non-refundable.
- Late arrivals and no-shows: Luna departs at 11:10am sharp and cannot wait. Guests who miss the departure are not eligible for a refund.
- Cancellation by Luna Cruises: if we cancel the cruise, you'll be offered a full refund or the option to transfer your booking where an alternative is available.
- Sydney Hobart Yacht Race: the race is an independent event and is not a condition of this cruise. Luna Cruises does not control its schedule, course or operation. The cruise will proceed as scheduled if the race is delayed, relocated, altered or cancelled, subject to normal vessel operating and safety requirements.
- Weather: the cruise operates subject to normal vessel operating and safety requirements. The lower and upper decks provide cover, and the rooftop opens whenever conditions allow.
- Alcohol: service is restricted to guests aged 18 and over under Responsible Service of Alcohol requirements. Strictly no BYO alcohol. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
